MLK Day and Amazon buy shipping
So if we are working / shipping tomorrow and we use Amazon buy shipping. USPS is closed.
Amazon gives us an extra day for the USPS to scan, correct?
This is our first year giving buy shipping a shot.

All of your orders should show a "Ship By" date of Jan 21 or later, so buying tomorrow works fine. As long as you get it into the post office, it will be scanned on time. Just like buying on a Sunday.
If your order was Ship By Jan 18, you're already late. -)

I am not sure what the problem is, as on all MY orders clearly displayed MLK Day as a Holiday and does NOT require any shipping to be done.
Are you SURE you were required to ship on MLK Day?
I might point-out that while Amazon DID recognize MLK Day as an official Holiday with NO Shipping required, Amazon did NOT recognize the recent "National Day of Mourning" for President Carter. On that day the Post Offices WERE all closed, however Amazon DID require orders to ship on that day.
On that day I shipped all orders one day early to avoid "Late" shipping.
