If I understand you correctly, you are asking how you can prevent some other 3P Seller from making inroads on your Offer(s) upon an Amazon Catalog Listing ASIN for which you yourself do NOT enjoy Intellectual Property Rights OWNERSHIP.

IF my supposition is indeed the case, let it be known that the available evidence suggests that Amazon’s TPTB have recently decided that it will no longer be having ANY of that.

You may wish to look into Amazon’s Brand Registry and the transparency program.

It all started a year ago when you:

  • Registered your brand name with USTPO
  • Purchased your brand’s name .com URL
  • Designed the packaging for the line of products
  • Obtained all necessary UPC from GS1 in your company/brand name, to be placed on the packaging/product
  • Obtained all necessary COC’s

Now you are ready to apply for brand approval. Next comes:

  • being approved to sell in the brand’s category
  • being approved to sell the actual branded product.

That is what Amazon wants to see so they know your brand really does exist.
