In our experience Vine reviews are a MUST when launching new products, they will give your ASIN the kickstart it needs.

Vine reviews are usually pretty kind about the product as well, would definitely recommend using this feature

I am still waiting for a the vine reviews a month after the ites were shipped by FBA. Amazon disinclined to accept this is a problem. So far my experience is not good.

Its genious really. Amazon charges us to sell things and if we want to give them away for free, they still get to charge us!

Yes, I would recommend it.

Although it does cost quite some money (the item - the FBA fees + fees for sending to Amazon + Vine fees), it is worth it.

Also, I don't think your item will look much better with 30 reviews compared to 10, so the 10-tier should be enough.

Another big advantage of Vine reviews is that sometimes you can get a 1-star review for no reason (like arrived late) right at the beginning, and Vine reviews will help absorb this.

I 100% recommend it for kickstarting a product.

However around 70% of the reviews I get are clearly AI generated, and I regularly see these being resold as single units on eBay, so people often just get the free product to resell. This obviously isn't within the spirit of the programme but it's nice to get reviews nonetheless.

A must for a new product, we only sent out 10 items as it was a first time using Vine but to our surprise we received 10 reviews.

I've used it for 4 SKUs with mixed results.

First of all not everyone gives a review, so you may pay for 10, but only get 7. I don't know if Amazon chases the reviewers, but it seems pretty poor to me that they get free stuff for the purposes of giving a review, but then the reviewer doesn't do their bit!

Secondly, the product may well end up on eBay, this has happened a number of times - they even took our listing images from Amazon and used on ebay! Not sure what I can do about that.

Thirdly there is no guarantee of good reviews. Whilst most reviewers seem entirely reasonable, a lot complain about the price ' too expensive' etc. Price is always subjective , but some reviewers reduce their rating - lots of comments like 5 start product, but I've given it 3 stars as it is more than I'd pay for it!

Fourthly there are clearly some unreasonable reviewers who presumably get a kick out of giving 2 star reviews. I've got one product where the review was basically a complaint on how what I was selling was not what they wanted - all slightly bizarre, considering the listing is crystal clear - I flagged with Amazon in case in was against TOS - but never had a response.

Fithly it is quite expensive once you factor in the fee plus FBA fees etc - but then it is critical to have some reviews.

Sixthly - which tier to choose. I normally go for the paid tiers. This time I've started with the free 2 review tier. Only one has left a review (5 star), so I'm not sure if to leave it there with one five star rating or risk getting more reviews which are likely to pull the rating below 5.

A waste of time to make Amazon money, and you get REALLY critical reviewers on a high horse looking to find fault in products, rather than give an honest opinion, and usually they dont even use them and they surface for sale on other sites. Most of the time they dont even understand the product and write false information as a result. You'll get the ocassional reviewer who does it right, but most of them think its a fun game to slate the free product... all at your expense...
