Search Suppressed and Stranded Inventory - '[unit count]' and '[unit count type]'

We have multiple listings that have been Search Suppressed (and eventually Inventory Stranded) because Amazon system claims the ASIN has missing attributes or invalid attributes for '[unit count]' and '[unit count type]'.

We have attempted the standard Seller Support suggested steps multiple times, including selecting "Relist", Create a New Listing by adding the SKU to inventory, and Create a New Listing by feed file, etc. We've worked cases via phone, chat, and email.

When we have attempted to Create a New Listing by Feed File, we get the error type “90003945” that states “Based on the data from ''[item_form.value]'', the ''Pound'' on the field ''"type.value"'' for the attribute ''[unit_count]'' is not a valid value. Please provide a valid value.” This seems significant because the ‘Unit Count Type’ submitted is Ounce and the ‘Item Form’ is Crystal. This should be valid based on the unit count type, PT, and Item Form. The system is seemingly trying to incorrectly add it as Pound. Again, this has been an ongoing problem. We've also tried multiple variations of the unit count/unit count type without success.

Open Case IDs are:

14378723421

14378184111

14248382541

Previous cases include: 14047692511 and 14248537671

I've searched the discussion boards, but the most recent posts I find do not provide enough information to replicate a clear fix. Any other suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Perhaps a MOD can help escalate or help determine the proper pathway?

Thank you!

We are encountering this exact same issue. I've tried editing the listing, going through "Fix Your Products", uploading both a partial and a full update feed file, and deleting and relisting the listing (which broke the two listings I tried it on and now they cannot be relisted in my catalog because of the error). Each time I was following the guidance given in the reference file that was provided to sellers 2 years ago https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/86469fa85c808b17933893cbed640430

It provides the exact same error "Based on the data from ''[item_form.value]'', the ''Pound'' on the field ''"type.value"'' for the attribute ''[unit_count]'' is not a valid value. Please provide a valid value." I have tried inputting Ounces and it still gives me the exact same error, which is very frustrating because I hadn't input "Pound", I had input "Ounce" as the item_form.value. It is a valid value according to the file provided in the link above, and according to the inputs in the bulk file.

I even escalated this to the SAS Issue Assistance team and all they did was reiterate that it couldn't be pounds for the given category. Our Customer Success Manager is now looking into the matter, but obviously something is broken on Amazon's end.

‘Item Form’ is Crystal

Is this a VALID value from the drop down?

Amazon has normalized the Item Form, you just can't use any value you want.
