ASIN is removed from sale on Amazon
Hi Everyone
Our new product was removed by Amazon, apparently a AMZ bot had concerns regarding the legitimacy of the product UPC number and its association to our brand.
For some context we are an small business located in Australia and sell in the USA via FBA. Our product is designed by us, manufactured in China and Sold in the USA. We have 500 units currently sitting in AMZ FBA for this listing, as the listing is new we do not as yet have any customer surveys for this product
I have provided AMZ seller support the GS1 Cert and a copy of our registered Trademark which the support member agrees validates the product is associated to our brand. So far so good?
The Support Member advised that our case will now get sent to another internal team … I hope to reinstate the listing but after 4 days there has been no response.
The Trademark was registered the brand via our LLC
The GS1 UPC was purchased via the same LLC
The AMZ support member tells me the reason why this occurred is the UPC should have been purchased under the Brand name and not the LLC name… this doesn’t make sense to us… is this correct process?
Next steps,
- Do we wait for AMZ seller support to reinstate the listing…?
- Do we delete the listing and create an new one with the same UPC etc?

Yes, and we completed the form correctly with our Brand name.
AMZ verbally confirm that our product , UPC and Brand are all valid, beside that we dont see any action from them.
I wonder will we have to delete the listing ad resubmit it or will that make matters worse?

Man are you in for a shock on Amazon.
You seem to think that it actually operates like a lot of the world and addresses issues in a timely manner. Four days is not even close to how long this is going to take to be resolved.
If Amazon ran elections here we would still be waiting for the results from 1996 to filter in. Go buy a case or two of Foster's and relax on a beach someplace since you have plenty of time to drown your sorrows.
