Another Vendor using OUR GTIN/UPC CODE
Is anyone else having This problem? I am going round and Round with amazon on their submit a case. I have done so over 10 times and still getting nowhere. Why does Amazon allow someone else to steal their GTIN NUMBERS? We can't list the products because another company is using OUR GTIN/UPC codes.

For YEARS (and even today) you can buy UPC codes on Ebay for very little money. All these sellers are selling is random codes with check digits that work. They are not officially sold and registered numbers to businesses. Obviously some of these codes will already belong to a real business who bought and registered them properly. You will have to find a way to escalate the case (perhaps an email to executive customer service at jeff@ amazon.com? When traditional seller service agents can't or won't solve a problem, I have no problem with reporting it to the executive team. Normally you should not deal with them on issues but sometimes you have no other choice.

Try opening a case asking for them to "cleve" your GTIN/UPC from the existing ASIN and attach your GS1 certificate showing that you are the owner.

Hey there @Seller_mLWPPsmXbcRzN- thanks for the post, and thanks to the other sellers in the thread who have offered their experience here. Wanted to check in to see how your case with support is progressing on cleaving the UPC is going? If you'd like to share that Case ID here in the thread, I'd be happy to take a look from my end.
Thanks,
Danny

We keep buying GTIN numbers via GS1 and another company has stolen our numbers. AM\azon keeps asking me for verification YET have they EVER asked the company that stole the GTIN numbers to verify their GS1 list????!!!!! I don't think so... This should be the first avenue to try.
