REGIONAL PLACEMENT FEES
Trying to make a LTL shipment with the eggregiously high shipping and placement fees. (400% increase if i ship with no placement fee to 9 different locations)
We're in CA so its cheaper to select West Region & ship there with $400+ placement fees. Unbelievably when i select WEST Region it populated LIT2 North Little Rock Arkansas Fulfillment Center.
Then when i tried CENTRAL Region the SAME EXACT FC came up from Little Rock Arkansas. Now obviously Arkansas is Central region so clearly the new Shipment System software is not working. Shipping + Placement came out to $4,000+ for 8 pallets. (i used to ship to western FC's at $300 per pallet.
@Dominic_Amazon Amazon should pause his new system or fix the bugs first (unless Amazon can arbitrability decide the same exact FC can be in multiple different regions of the country?
This seems deliberate not a bug in the software. I'm sure this Arkansas FC is underutilized so Amazon just decided to call Little Rock Arkansas the "West" region and "Central" region at the same time?
Little Rock Arkansas is actually farther to the East than the exact center of United States regardless! Already submitted Case to get the usual we are sending to internal developer team to investigate... By the time i get an answer my products will already be sold out and i'll be charged low inventory fees...
Thanks,

It is a very simple and basic was to AVOID the PLACEMENT FEES. There is not hidden science. It very simple if you send a single sku in less than 4 boxes you will be charged the placement fee. no matter how many boxes you send in and no matter how many are in each box.
Let me explain it this way. If I have 4 sku. A, B,C,D
ONE sku needs to be in 4 boxes just by itself
Box 1 Sku A
Box 2 Sku A
Box 3 Sku A
Box 4 Sku A
_____________NOW ANY OTHER BOXES AND ANY OTHER COMBINATION OF SKU IN THE BOXES will qualify you for the free inbound placement plan. So
Box 5 Sku B, C, D
Box 6 Sku A, D
and so on. the quantity does not matter, so you could send in 4 boxes with 1 item in each box it would qualifty you for the no fee inbound.
Hope that helps.
****One note if your shipping plan like my example has 6 different shipments. You MUST send in all 6 shipments to the location on the label provided. if you say only send to 5 locations because you sent 2 boxes to your favorite FBA warehouse thinking you would be able to beat the sytstem. Think again it will blacklist you and you wont be able to send anywhere for free until you send that missing box to the fba location you skipped
