Amazon warehouse lost box after recieving 1 item and will NOT resolve!
I sent in a box with 61 items. Amazon received the box, checked in the box, received ONE SINGLE UNIT, the shipment then sat for 2 weeks, then the shipment was closed with only 1 item received. Seller support did their regular BS of asking for proof of ownership, I sent pictures of EVERY ITEM WITH AMAZON LABEL ON IT, then pics of every item in the box. Now they are not responding and when I called about my case they said it was only by email. The seller support are incompetent and don't understand the simple concept that the warehouse lost my box of items and I'm FURIOUS.
Why am I supposed to take a $2000 loss due to lazy incompetent warehouse people that lose my shipment?!? Why won't Amazon seller support listen to reason?!? Why can't I talk to a human being on the phone??

Hi @Seller_6jjGrDtOoqPUF,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help. I took a look at the case and I can see that key information to proceed has not been provided.
The proof of purchase must be the original invoice from the supplier or manufacturer and must include the following information:
- Date of the purchase
- Product names of the missing items
- Quantity purchased
- Full name and address of the invoice issuer
- Full name and address of the buyer
I understand you have provided a picture but the team needs the information above.
Best,
Dominic

Amazon has been losing a lot of shipments lately.
I am shipping to Amazon since 2016. I almost never had lost inventory. The one time I did, they eventually located it.
The last few months, Amazon has lost several of our shipments.
This is happing all across the board as evident in the discussions here on the forum.
Amazon should not ask for all kinds of proof of ownership. But they do, @Dominic_Amazon simply provided you with what policy requires to be reimbursed. No need to tear into the messenger. Dominic is a forum moderator. Not seller support. They can escalate your case. Being disrespectful will not encourage that.
Be advised that even if you will provide all that is asked for, support will continue to ask for the same information over and over until finally you either persist and may be reimbursed or until you give up.
They will act stupid and make you feel stupid. Seller support is everything but support.

yeah this is what they do now. They steal your stuff to your face. They're supposed to reimburse, but will always fight tooth and nail not to. It wasn't always like this.
If you send them receipts, they'll ask for commercial invoices even though their own policies say that receipts are valid for proof of ownership.
I've been here 10 years. It's gotten so bad. Started FBMing recently and its so much better. More control. higher profit.

Your products will probably end up at one of these "bin" reseller stores that are popping up all over the place. Amazon gives away tons of products that bin stores buy up for next to nothing. Then Amazon sellers wonder where their product went.

I have the same exact problem as you....
@Dominic_Amazonis there a chance you can help me escalate? ID 14413218681
I fear amazon did not provide me any proof they've checked. i said my side of story and they would acknowledge nothing.

It's a reoccurring problem with FBA these days. We have been sending shipments to Amazon warehouses for years with no issues, until recently within the past few months, items have gone "missing". Best to switch to FBM where you have more control over inventory. Although the shipping costs can be higher for individual items and you have to deal with returns and customer complaints directly, in the end it pays off, especially if you are dealing with high-priced items that you cannot afford to go "missing".

I believe this will be another basis for a lawsuit by multiple states and the federal govt. against Amaon. They blatantly loose or steal items and rely on policies to deny responsability and make us eat the loss. Then, on returns, they accept them when they should not for FBA items and claim we are responsible for seller damaged items. A return with missing items is not seller damaged, it is seller theft.

I do not engage in FBA (for a lot of reasons) but I see this kind of post ALL the time on the fora. I wonder two things: a.) do these issues ever get resolved to the seller's satisfaction, and b.) does this not seem actionable on a class level (even if only those who have already ditched and will feel no intimidating pressure)? This seems like LOTS of money is being squandered.
