the attribute claimed by another brand representative - is there a working solution?

I am the brand owner and only seller of my brand products on Amazon. I am also the only user with administrator and brands owner rights in the brand registry. I sell on Amazon USA and some of European Amazon marketplaces.

Trying to update my products listings is a real nightmare. And the majority of the issues happens because 'the attribute you would like to update for the ASIN has already been claimed by another representative of the brand'. Then it becomes an endless communication with the Seller Support trying to figure out which of my accounts is winning the contribution. Interestingly the winning contribution could be coming even from my Amazon account in the country where I don't even sell and don't have any listings (for example, from my Australian account)...Knowing this normally doesn't help to update the attributes for my product listings anyway...

With that said I'd like to ask the community here - does anybody know working solution how to manage own product listings and solve this 'another representative is winning the contribution' issue?

I find that a flat file usually fixes it easier than anything else.

When a flat file doesn't work, open a case through brand registry. When you get that response, send it back and tell them to check the seller it is your account, as well. And then just KEEP sending it back. Eventually it will get escalated and someone will look at it and see it is you and fix it.

Greetings @Seller_rsphq7X7pXC92,

Thank you for reaching out with your difficulties. In general the reason for this "Attribute Claimed by Another Brand Representative" message is because you have multiple users associated with your Brand who have the same rating of "Brand Representative" . If you review your user permissions as indicated by the Manage Brand Selling Roles Help page you can change the account making contributions to a "Reseller" instead of a Brand Representative and the contributions will not have equal weight. Your "Primary" account will not have issues trying to make changes as it will have a higher contribution weight.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
