One thing that I don't see is any reference to an LOA from Ohio Knife and Tool saying that you are allowed to sell their products on Amazon. Do you have one?

Since Amazon is asking for invoices from Ohio Knife and Tool to YOUR supplier it means that you are NOT buying direct from Ohio Knife and Tool.

Amazon doesn't trust or believe that your source is an authorized distributor.

Have you verified with Ohio Knife and Tool that the place you are purchasing your stock is authorized to be a wholesaler for Ohio Knife and Tool?

Well, OBVIOUSLY that is not the case since you are still suspended.

Amazon simply does not care what YOU think is sufficient. Amazon house, Amazon rules.

Back to the question -- do you have an LOA from Ohio Knife and Tool allowing you to sell that specifically states that you can sell on Amazon?

In addition to that hurdle, there is additional bad news that you may be running into from Amazon policies and rules.

If you can't get an LOA this has been posted by @Atlas_Amazon regarding a seller that was trying to sell a brand that does NOT provide LOAs to anyone: ""Due to the issues with the listing set up, our team had concerns regarding your authorization for the brand. I understand from our previous communication that the brand does not issue authorization letters. This would mean that our team cannot allow you to sell this brand on our platform.""

Additionally, this issue pops up from time to time and shows up under Amazon 'Unsuitable Units' and "anti-counterfeiting policies" which MIGHT be what they refer to in their 'deceptive or illegal activity' comments.

Here is a long explanation of that stuff.

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/ccf9273a-0d1c-4a44-8ea1-77fc642d8280?postId=a04ec47c-b292-4998-959f-8151830099f5

From @Atlas_amazon

For your sourcing, you mention acquiring product directly from the brand, do they also provide to you a letter of authorization? This document would need to explicitly state you have permission to list the product on the platform. As seen in our anti-counterfeit policy, inauthentic product can be product that has not been given explicit authorization to be listed on the platform.

If you have any additional details to share or questions regarding how to proceed, continue to refer here for support.

Best,

Atlas

Amazon will notify you if we require additional information about inventory that we have determined may constitute Unsuitable Units under the FBA Service Terms. Simply, our supplier was provided an authorization letter from the brand and the brand distributor allowing to distribute products to Amazon. Meanwhile, our supplier has also provided us an authorization letter to resell products that they were allowed to sell on Amazon.

Aside from that, we have also submitted the supplier's invoices, supplier's supplier invoices, as well as the supplier's supplier invoice from their purchase from the brand.

Thus, we think we have submitted adequate documents requested by Amazon from invoices, tracing the supply chain that originated from the brand's to us.

Our account remains suspended because we are facing another issue with Amazon account health automatically marking our appeals "Completed" without replies from Amazon team. Thus, this is one matter that also needs to be addressed. Seems like Amazon is not minding our submission.

Simply, our supplier was provided an authorization letter from the brand and the brand distributor allowing to distribute products to Amazon.

This is not going to solve anything for AMAZON purposes. An LOA does NOT transfer from a distributor to anyone else.

Since you say that you have one from the brand, is the brand possibly a global one that can have multiple owners involving different markets -- one for North America, one for Europe, one for Asia, etc. There have been multiple posts over the years where sellers had to get an authorization from ALL the regions because Amazon is a global operation.

"Thus, we think we have submitted adequate documents requested by Amazon from invoices, tracing the supply chain that originated from the brand's to us. "

And, again, Amazon doesn't agree at this point which is all that counts.

Does your LOA from Ohio Knife and Tool specifically say that you are allowed to sell on Amazon?

Added bonus question -- does the name on the letter from Ohio Knife and Tool match the name on your seller account EXACTLY?

If it is NOT exactly the same you will need to show some proof that the two are the same. I had to submit my LLC State Registration with MY name as the owner of the LLC since my Amazon seller account is under a different LLC name.

I buy under one and sell under several for different sites. Amazon needed proof of the relationship!

If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.

Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.

They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....

Thanks so much for posting here in the seller forums.

From the information you have provided here, I see you had received a request for identity verification documentation as well as responsible sourcing documentation, letter of authorizations, licensing agreements, and financial information.

@Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp has also provided some excellent information and insight into the applicable documentation and rationale for certain parts of this request.

In addition to this, you will want to ensure all of your information present on seller central also matches and is verifiable with what is provided on the identity and business documentation.

If the team does not receive this information or is unable to validate this information, we are unable to guarantee that your account will be reactivated at this time.

Best regards,

The authorization was issued to our supplier allowing them to distribute products to any platform. Our supplier has also provided us an authorization to resell.

Hello,

@Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp Yes, we do have the Letter of Authorization both from the brand distributor, and the brand themselves. The authorization was issued to our supplier allowing them to distribute products to any platform. Our supplier has also provided us an authorization to resell.
