Amazon FBA Hazmat Reviews - Making incorrect conclusions
We make and sell a product here in the USA. We are compliant regarding Amazon FBA hazmat requirements AND it's sold as a limited quantity. We have eight ASINs and have sold successfully for almost six years. Without warning and with all requirements met, we still were subject to a "hazmat review" which marked our listing as "Inactive (Out of Stock)" and resulted in destruction of nearly $1k of our FBA inventory!
We have been wrestling with frontline support AND the SDS review team for almost a month. Our reviews are NOT timely (some taking two weeks) AND they have concluded (incorrectly) that our product is not fallible via FBA. This is most disconcerting and since hazmat is an important issue, I'd expect that Amazon would be providing better tools and training to their staff. CLEARLY, this is not the case. I'd really like to see some better service here.
