Genaric Error 5886
I want to add a generic product, it tells me error 5886, I create the case, I send the real photos of the product. And in the resolution of the case they tell me that I am trying to add an ASIN of a restricted generic product.
Nobody can explain me, if I buy from the same supplier, I have the real photos of the product, the product is generic, what is the restriction ???? the strangest thing that other listings that have generic products error 5885 comes out, has the same treatment and after creating the case, usually enable the product.
There is something about the listing that when it was created and that beyond being a generic product, it totally blocks the entry to the listing, as if generic were really a brand, when it is not.
This is clearly a failure of analysis, they should review it.

I am also having this issue, I have been trying to add a new product not on Amazon, not anywhere, it's brand new. There is no ASIN associated with my product as I am the manufacturer.
Support keeps telling me this.
"You cannot change a product detail page or add offers on another seller's generic product or copy the product detail page to another store. If you want to sell a generic product, you can create a new product under "Add products".
I have supplied them photos showing the product is not branded as well as screen shots showing the error
