Make Trading Cards and Sports Card FINAL SALE again!!
This has become a MAJOR issue these last couple of months as scammers are continuing to purchase items, take what they want from the packs, then return them completely opened and/or resealed. Amazon is just allowing the scams to continue by not making the TCG/Sports Card Categories FINAL SALE as they are supposed to be according to the Amazon Policies. It appears their backend is erroneously missing hundreds if not thousands of ASIN's and allowing these returns which ends up costing sellers a ton of money. I have spoken to MANY disgruntled sellers who are having the same issues with this.
One of the major issues is that Amazon is marking a lot of these items as "sellable" when they get returned, which then means the next person to get them will end up getting scammed and blaming the seller even though we have 0 control over this, this is an FBA issue. This should not be happening at all.
About 2-3 years ago, Amazon was implementing the Final Sale rule on ALL trading cards and it appears since then they have slowly "forgotten" to add the final sale label.
There are numerous scam groups specifically targeting the trading card category as they know Amazon is allowing returns for used items and the market for many of these cards has gone up.
Please put an end to this, a small business should not have to simply take a $3,000+ loss every month simply because Amazon forgets to flip a switch on an ASIN.
I have no problem providing a full list of ASIN's that need the label if need be. This cannot continue like this.

If an @Seller_nUXRIxpv1gT6F can please review this and escalate the issue to backend support that would be greatly appreciated.
As per the policy listed below under the title "Items That You Can't Return", trading cards are not supposed to be returnable and it seems like as newer sets are being released, the automated categorization/labeling of the items not flagging these for no return. I believe they are simply marked as "Toys" and therefore are not getting the proper labeling.
As a result, customers/scammers are abusing the system.

Today i spoke with Amazon support, and the lady said Amazon policy for trading cards is FINAL SALE NO RETURNS NO REFUNDS.
The problem is some of the asins are wrongly categorised as tabletop games This is why we see 30 days refund policy on trading cards.
Anyone selling trading cards needs to start opening cases and requesting that the internal team change the product type to :
Collectible Card
Examples include: Souvenir Sports Trading Cards, Collectible Card Game Booster Packs, Non Sports Trading Card Packs
As this is where the FINAL SALE policy applies

Please see the new case in your case log ending in '5561'.
Working with this team will be your best next step, but do let me know if you run into any questions I can help address here on the forums!

@Danny_Amazon Hi there! Is there any updates for this? The situation is getting worse and worse. A big problem is Amazon receiving back these returns (which are tampered with/resealed 99.9% of the time) then marking them as sellable so its listed back in inventory. Then the next buyer receives and marks as fake/resealed so it affects me as a seller because buyers think they got resealed/tampered product when we send everything 100% authentic to Amazon.
If I mark items to be returned directly to us based on ASIN (skip the Amazon FBA relist), then we lose out on reimbursement when these fraudsters return damaged product. But if we allow Amazon to inspect and relist items, then there is a high probability that they are not inspected properly (or they're resealed enough to hide imperfections) and the next buyer will be affected. It's a no-win situation.
Implementing the no return policy as it's supposed to be for Trading Cards and Sports cards will help deter the fraudsters. Please help us get some traction on this. As I stated previously, I am willing to go through every single ASIN to help you identify which ones need the label if need be.
