No Compensation When Carrier Cannot Deliver to an Amazon Center
I couple of months ago, Amazon instructed me to send a shipment to GYR2 - GOODYEAR, AZ. Now, the shipment is coming back to me in Japan, which will cost me hundreds of dollars in sending and return postage. When I asked the postal system why, they said that the boxes had cleared customs etc. and everything was no problem. However, the center didn't have a way for the boxes to be delivered.
As this was entirely the fault of the Amazon center that Amazon instructed me to send the shipment to, I was expecting some kind of compensation from Amazon as it was sent to as there was no problem with the shipment itself. Also, in the past when I had this problem once before, Amazon compensated.
However, after contacting support, I just get excuses and dodges saying maybe their were customs charges (the postal system confirmed there were not), forbidden products (these were the same models etc. that I have send to Amazon countless times and again the postal system confirmed it was not the problem) etc.
This is just so utterly unjust to sellers as I sent it as they instructed (post was an option). Some new Amazon policy? Is there anything I can do????

Unfortunately even though Amazon allows you to ship via USPS, most centers are not equipped to receive packages from USPS. This has been an issue since FBA started over a decade ago.
