Has anybody ordered from Empire Distribution USA? If so, is this a legitimate supplier? Thank you.

Did you bother to read their terms and conditions? I guess NOT since they clearly state THIS:
"Empire Distribution USA (Empire Wholesale & Distribution Inc.) is a wholesaler and distributor of toys, cosmetics, skin care, household items, groceries and more. We carry a wide range of brands and categories. Empire Distribution does not claim to be authorized distributors of any of the brands or merchandise we carry or offer unless specifically stated."
TWO MONTHS ago you got caught with a supplier that was (apparently) not authorized after buying $1000+ of stuff.
You need to pay attention to Seller U and the SOURCING part AS WELL AS getting approval from EVERY BRAND that you want to sell or you will be suspended quickly.
PLEASE read the following:
You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
You really need to go study Seller U instead of TikTok and YouTube before your account gets kicked to the curb permanently.
Since you don't appear to have done that PLEASE pay attention to the following:
The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon?
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
There are a LOT of FAKE wholesalers out there ranging from places like Sam's Club, Costco. BJs Wholesale and others to all those Gray market providers touted on TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and other places. AND there are places like Ali#$#$ that sell counterfeits and knockoffs.
Any of the guys mentioned have resulted in so many account suspensions that it is impossible to count the number.
When Amazon says in Seller U to use an Authorized Reseller they mean an AUTHORIZED (by the BRAND) Wholesale Distributor – NOT some random wholesale distributor that has “thousands of brands” in stock but is NOT authorized by the brand.
Here is an Amazon MOD response to another post with similar issues. I share this because a FEW people don’t believe in needing permission to sell from the BRAND.
Hello @Photo1,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team. This can be a difficult topic to navigate so I appreciate you posting here in case others have the same or a similar question.
Thanks to @NEVERLAST and @Brigittefor providing assistance and I don't have much more to add other than restating that you need the Brand Owner's approval to sell their brand. I also want to provide you the help page on why a letter of authorization is needed and what should be included in it: Letter of Authorization.
Hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best,
Dougal "
NOTE -- I AM NOT DOUGAL. I quoted what he responded to on a different post regarding the same type issue. I missed putting the ending quotation mark on here.

Thank you for this morning laugh! (If I read some questions here, I really think sometimes, that a chimapanzee wrote them...)

There are many posts on this issue. No, they are not authorized to sell to Amazon sellers for most of the items they sell.

Well, it is like this. They are simply a middleman who Hopefully buys their products from a real manufacturer. They mark them up and resells them to unsuspecting buyers like you. How here is the problem.
1. They will make much more profit selling the merchandise to you that you will mkae sellking them on Amazon.
2. You do not know where the products are sourced from. Usually, the products come from overstock auctions, distressed sales, returned merchandise auctions, and sometimes from manufacturers of knockoffs.
3. So you take a chance and buy two cases of a product to see if you can make a profit make a profit, and it turns our well. You go to order more, and it is out of stock. That is because it come from a place that only had 3 cases on the pallet, they made their profit selling to you, and they just move on to something else.
4. Don't believe what the site shows in the photos. Those sites are professionally managed and there is a good chance the photos are not of the actual company.
Now, once you understand what is really going on, you should be buying direct from the manufacturer. That way, the middleman is cut out, and you make the bulk of the profit.
So.... Where do you find the manufacturers? That is easy, you shop where Amazon shops, I shop, and thousands of successful Amazon sellers shop... The ASD Show in Las Vegas, 3rd week of August 2023. Over 10,000 manufacturers display, over a million products to choose from, and it only costs showing your retailers License to get in the door. The show lasts a week and any of the companies displaying will sell to you. Amazon will accept your invoices frpom the products you purchase there.
Think things over.

How does that work, Dougal? Are you saying brands provide a "whitelist" to Amazon? I think not, since you say that Amazon are only interested in fees. Unauthorized sellers (of high end brands) are a pain.

they are very very bad people have replica products on very high prices and amazon did not accept their invoice. So, take a U turn as soon as possible. They will not accept your return if you want
Seller_wnc1pjYEF5ZqF
They offer close out and liquidated products. They're not an authorized supplier/dealer of anything they offer and their provided invoices won't be considered proof of authenticity in the event of copyright/trademark or counterfeit claims..

Hi @Seller_esCoi18SlWoN0,
Tatiana from Amazon here. I cannot speak to Empire Distribution USA specifically, but I can echo the sentiments from @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp and the information they quoted from @Dougal_Amazon, who is a fellow Seller Forums Community Manager.
You must have permission from the Brand Owner of a product to sell their product on Amazon. They may direct you to an authorized distributor for procurement, but you will still need the direct permission of the brand owner of the product. You can read about Letters of Authorization here.
