No Buy Box

Case ID: 16697087211

Our two items on the case ID are not in buy box even though we are the only ones selling on Amazon. It is competitive in pricing and no one else is selling lower on any other channels or websites.

Also, what is the criteria on "competitive pricing"? Considering no one else can sell it at a much lower price to compete against amazon pricing.

The lack of buy box hurts us on advertising where it cannot show sponsored product ads and cannot show for one click buy either.

Can someone take a look at that case and see what is the reason for not being in the buy box?

Amazon Reps do not have any control over the buy box. The Featured Offer (Buy Box) is not a right or a given. It is like the old Clairol TV add used to say, "Only your hairdresser knows for sure". Now just replace the hairdresser with Amazon. It is run by an Algorithm Bot that giveth and taketh away.

In addition, Amazon uses this as a ploy to entice sellers to use FBA but remember this. There can only be one Featured Offer for each unique product. Sellers seem to enjoy it when they have it, and then complain when they do not. But remember, when a seller is disappointed with the loss of the featured offer, they seem to forget, another seller is happy with that loss, because it is their gain.

If you are the only seller, the buyer still has to purchase from you.

Amazon has price fixed many older out of stock listings that they no longer compete on as part of the manipulation to drive sales to items they want sold and not your item. When you read what Amazon tells customers it is very disturbing. This Attack on sellers has dropped our sales by 59% and this is our peak season! Drop your prices 50%- 70% and they will return buy box and sales at the same time tell customers you are a good seller instead of a horrible seller. Look up your items original cost to you change you selling price to the and watch how fast buy box comes back. RIGGED AGAINST YOU

Don't know if this is related but it's what keeps killing our sales...Amazon is padding the crap out of our transit times...we are well above the 90% OTDR yet they're showing our items won't be delivered until Dec 10-11 or even longer in some areas...that's 10-12 shipping days or more, we have our transit time for these areas set at 2-4 days with 1 day handling...and according to our dashboard they are only supposed to be adding .8 days so there's an extra 8 days being added!!!! this causes a loss of the buy box in most areas, I'm guessing to drive more sales to FBA listings, if you're seeing drastic drop in sales I would check this out...go to your listings and change the ship zip codes to other areas and see what the delivery estimate is that buyers see...

Don't know if this is related but it's what keeps killing our sales...Amazon is padding the crap out of our transit times...we are well above the 90% OTDR yet they're showing our items won't be delivered until Dec 10-11 or even longer in some areas...that's 10-12 shipping days or more, we have our transit time for these areas set at 2-4 days with 1 day handling...and according to our dashboard they are only supposed to be adding .8 days so there's an extra 8 days being added!!!! this causes a loss of the buy box in most areas, I'm guessing to drive more sales to FBA listings, if you're seeing drastic drop in sales I would check this out...go to your listings and change the ship zip codes to other areas and see what the delivery estimate is that buyers see...
