Amazon Refusing to Approve Application for Brand
I've been making efforts to gain approval for selling Funko toys. Initially, I submitted an invoice from an authorized supplier, believing it would suffice. However, my application was denied. After poring over numerous forum posts, I came to understand that a brand authorization letter was necessary. Having obtained this letter, I submitted my application once more, only to be rejected again. So, to those claiming that a Letter of Authorization (LOA) is essential, please reconsider. Amazon support has been unhelpful and seems to disregard their established guidelines.

It's simple ---
Unless YOU are the owner of the Funko brand you will NOT be able to register anything.
Actually, if you are not the owner of the brand and you try to register it (claiming ownership of the brand) on Amazon that could/would/should be considered FRAUD.
Here is the Amazon rule for that situation-
The OWNER of the Brand is the one that MUST enter into the Brand Registry agreement. If the owner is not the same as the Amazon seller the seller will have to be granted access by the owner AFTER REGISTRATION.

INVOICES
Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
You invoice should include
• detailed list of products (at least 10 per item, Product name, model number or UPC that can be verified online)) ,
• terms of sale (net30/net60/cash..)
• must be by the brand itself or a brand authorized distributor (not a retail store for the general public, not some back door pallet seller wanna be distributor )***
• your full business name and address, as entered in seller central
• a COMPLETED transaction ( order shipped),
• suppliers full name and contact details, (e-mail, phone or both)
• Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
• Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
**Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
Any brand approved distributor will provide supply chain documents! They are not asking for invoices showing the distributor purchased from the brand, they are asking for proof that the distributor is a brand authorized distributor. A contract between the brand and that distributor. That contract may also include information about limitations, such as certain products may only be sold to retailers with a B&M, or some products may not be offered at online marketplaces. Supply chain documentation may include material disclosures, substance declarations, compliance certificates, and especially certificates of origin

If you applied through Funko & were approved to be a reseller, call your account manager to ensure you're submitting the correct authorization document validating your status. Any other documents are likely to be rejected. My collector friend had this issue until he was approved by Funko; the distributors have no authority to grant reselling permission & Funko's T&Cs state that unauthorized selling/reselling is prohibited. The good news is Funko's reselling requirements aren't too bad; the bad news is they are not accepting applications.

Hello @Seller_33NtaBcQIbeos,
I'm sorry for the difficulties you have had with your application to sell Funko brand products. I've reviewed your case and at this time there is no additional information that can be provided. While there are standard requirements for invoices and sourcing these are not the only factors taken into account and Amazon will not indicate why you were denied. The factors reviewed are confidential and proprietary to ensure that the the review process remains effective. If Amazon shared the details of these processes, bad actors may take advantage of this information.
You can continue to appeal and work with your contacts with the Brand to try to resolve this issue, but Amazon will not share why you are denied. I apologize the difficulties this creates. Thank you for your understanding .
