Account deactivated UAE/US Conflict
Hi,
I have a primary seller account in the UAE (Dubai). Up until march, 2024, the account was active, but I had no active listing. In March I was shown an option to extend that store to north america. I went ahead and activated it for trial purposes.
This has caused my UAE and US account to get deactivated. At first Amazon asked to submit a valid bill and trade license, which I did. These documents keep getting rejected. I am also no longer seeing the option of speaking to an Amazon representative (in the US seller account). Hence I don't know what the underlying issue is anymore.
I want to close the US account, but I need to reactivate it before closing it out. Can some one please help me with this.

What documentation are you providing and how? The utility bill is part of address verification. The name and address have to match EXACTLY as to what information you used to sign up with.

I see that your account has been deactivated for seller identity verification concerns and you would like guidance on how to get this resolved.
To address this type of deactivation must submit ONE of the following...
-a valid business license (with information that matches your info in seller central)
OR
-a utility bill for piped or natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service dated within the last 90 days with your name and address visible
The bill must meet the following requirements...
- Be valid (not expired, revoked, inactive or closed).
- In order to ensure your documents are not rejected, make sure that they meet the following requirements
- Be high resolution and unobstructed (clear, readable, visible and in focus).
- Be complete and not cut off from any sides (not angled or cropped).
- Be a scanned image or photo of the original document taken from your mobile device's camera.
- Display the full document (front and back, if applicable).
- Be less than 50MB in size.
- Be in one of these formats: TIF, TIFF, PNG, JPG, PDF, and JPEG. Do not include special characters in the file name (examples: $, &, or #).
- Be authentic and unaltered.
- Must not be password-protected.
- Be in one of these supported languages: Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. If your documents are not in a supported language, you must submit a notarized translation in a supported language along with the original document.
If one of the requirements are not met or the bill is unable to be verified for any reason, your submission will be rejected, and a business license alone will be required to complete the verification.
If you have any associated case ID's please feel free to include them here so we can take a deeper look. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
