Estimated Delivery Date Calculation for Premium 2-day shipping
Hello, has anyone run into this scenario?
Order date Friday 1/28 with 2-day service requested
Ship by date: Friday 1/28
Shipped Friday 1/28
Deliver by date: Monday 1/31
Used Fed-Ex 2-day, order delivered Tuesday 2/1, 2 business days, counted late.
When contacting Seller Support, they sent me the Help screen that says:
Orders that you receive Monday-Friday before 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT, will show an EDD that is two business days after the order date
I guess the real question is: is Amazon now counting Saturday and/or Sunday as business days? We are seller-fulfilled, not FBA, our fulfillment settings are only Mon-Fri.
Thanks for any input - this is totally illogical to me and now we’ve lost our Premium shipping option.
