Dip in Sales & SKU Changes Post-Data Migration: Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?
Hello Amazon Sellers Community,
I'm currently facing a perplexing issue and am reaching out to see if anyone else is navigating similar waters. Following a recent data migration on Amazon, I've noticed a significant drop in my sales. This drop, I suspect, could be due to changes in the way ads are performing, as my previously top-selling products have seen a notable decline. Additionally, in another forum, I came across discussions highlighting widespread issues with data migration—advising careful review of listing details such as codes, SKUs, descriptions, and titles to ensure there's no mismatch or shift that could affect search functionality and accuracy.
Delving deeper into my situation, I discovered that the SKUs for my products have been altered, which I suppose has generated confusion affecting how customers locate my listings. Interestingly, while the ASINs remain unchanged, searching with the old SKUs now redirects to a different listing within my own store. For example, a listing from 02-12-24 with ASIN YYY and SKU 000, as of 04-11-24, the same ASIN YYY now corresponds to SKU 333. The original listing with SKU 000 now points to an entirely different ASIN. This pattern has emerged across nearly 2,000 listings, with only about 80 that have remained unchanged.
This issue has created a baffling shopping experience and is having a direct impact on my business. I'm in the process of meticulously checking all my listing details to ensure there are no discrepancies and am updating fulfillment information as needed.
I’m keen to hear if any of you have encountered similar post-migration issues and how you've tackled them. Have you observed any consistent errors? Any insights on how to handle these changes, especially to mitigate the sales impact?
Any insights or suggestions would be warmly welcomed. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance! @Tatiana_Amazon @Rose_Amazon

It sounds like you are experiencing a problem that happens to me all the time.
Whenever my SKUs change, the advertisements appear like they are running fine.
They are not.
You have to re-add all of the items into all of your campaigns with the new SKU. Otherwise, your ads are not running right now.
