Account Health Score Points Loss (Dip in Sales)

Anyone else told they lost points because they had a "dip in sales"? Apparently in June + July I had a slight sales dip so they deducted points. I see no mention in the FAQ about losing points because of a dip in sales. I have had ZERO violations in the almost 10 years I've been selling. I thought points were only deducted for violations? How come they are so quick to remove points but not give any?

I've also never gained any points and I've had more than 200 successful sales in the last 180 days and many before that. They keep telling me it depends on your sales volume to gain points. Why does it tell you for every 200 if that is NOT the case?

Any Amazon moderators can you help me out please?

Points are based on sales and violations. Not sure where this is in the FAQ, but it was pretty well explained when this basically meaningless metric was rolled out.

As long as your score is 200 or above, you're fine. Any points above 200 are strictly from sales. And a serious violation will drop you to 0 whether you started at 200 or 1000. So my advice is to just ignore this number, and concentrate on running your business.

Hello @Seller_ResBFKGA0inE8,

This is Webb from Amazon. I see you have concerns regarding your Account Health Score. Let's see if I can provide some clarity on the question.

To explain it simply, your Account Health Rating is similar to a Credit Rating. You have to use it to increase it.

How does the Account health Rating work?

The Account Health Rating (AHR) is a new feature that helps monitor your account health based on your adherence to Amazon’s selling policies. It considers factors such as the number of unresolved policy violations on your account at any given time, the relative severity of those violations, and the extent to which you positively impact the customer experience via your selling activities. This rating does not change Amazon’s existing selling policies and will continue to be refined over time.

Every account has a baseline score of 200. Successfully completing orders will increase your score. Violations will deduct points from your score. The points you gain or lose are temporary and will change based on policy. If your AHR drops below 200, your account is considered at risk. If it falls below 100, the account is at risk of deactivation. Over 200 is considered Healthy.

The points are continually adjusted based on your individual sales volume. Points are reviewed and awarded on a daily basis. The points were not deducted, they were points that you no longer qualified for.

I hope this clarifies your question. The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Best Regards,

Webb
