We are trying to open an account with vendor central but warry of policy violation. We have read so many information online that one can have both. I would like to confirm from moderators and esteemed veterans here if one can have both accounts.

While this isn't against policy, I would advise you to refer to your contract for what is/is not allowed for specifics and to avoid any policy violations. If you have a vendor manager, they would be a great resource for this as I can only speak to the seller side!
