Is there any where you have a report of cancellation requests. Customer claims they canceled the order but we have no proof!

Is there any where you have a report of cancellation requests. Customer claims they canceled the order but we have no proof!

When an order is canceled, it is gone from view forever. When a buyer cancels the order, the seller has to either accept the cancelation or if the item has shipped , not cancel the order.

Scammers do know how to beat the system. Are you sure this has not happened to you? Scammers wait until the order has shipped, then contact the seller claiming the order was canceled.

Notice, they do not place the request thru proper Amazon channels, They just contact the seller. The scammer hopes you believe them and will simply refund, and they get a free product. If the scam did not work for them in the past, they would not have tried it on you. So don't give in.

Report the massage as buyer is trying to deceive me. Then respond to the buyer, "Write refused across your name and address and place the item in a mail boz. When it arrives back, Amazon will refund minus the outward shipping you paid".

Appreciate you looking to the forums for some insight on this situation @Seller_WmtZwRmdYOFQ7- the guidance offered by @Seller_CW0P5hgbsiqWXis prudent in avoiding complications, and I'll confirm there is not method for pulling order cancellation history.

I will also share this breakdown from the forums team on adjusting the window during which buyers can automatically cancel their orders.

Have there been any developments with this customer situation in the past couple days?
