Whether you're new to FBA or a seasoned seller, this is your chance to:

  • Get expert answers to your pressing FBA questions
  • Share your experiences and learn from fellow sellers
  • Provide direct feedback to the Amazon team

_____________________________________________________

📚 Key Resources: We've compiled key resources on all things Shipments, Inventory Management & Prioritization for easy access.

1. 📋 Managing Your Send to Amazon Shipment- Seller University Learn how to effectively use tracking tools to monitor your shipments from creation to final delivery.

2. 📦 Packaging Requirements - Correctly and safely packaging your FBA shipments is a critical step in protecting your inventory throughout the fulfillment journey:

  • Inventory that arrives to a fulfillment center without proper preparation or labeling may incur a preparation fee
  • Inventory that arrives with non-compliant, unsafe packaging may be refused or disposed of with no eligibility for reimbursement
  • Loose products must be contained within a single, secure package with a non-adhesive band or removable tape
  • Footwear must be packaged where the shoe material isn’t exposed (needs to be in a shoe box or polybag with a suffocation warning)
  • Amazon doesn’t accept units that require Amazon assembly
  • Units sold as sets must be marked as sets on their packaging. For example “Sold as set” or “This is a set. Do not separate”
  • All specific packaging requirement details can be found by navigating through the packaging requirements help page

3. 𝄃𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄀𝄁𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄃 Barcode Requirements - Each of your units needs an exterior scannable barcode or label (which includes a scannable barcode and the corresponding human-readable numbers) that is easily accessible:

  • Do not apply barcodes to a corner or curve that would prevent them from being scanned
  • Remove, cover, or render unscannable any existing scannable barcodes on the outside of shipping boxes
  • For bundled sets, barcodes on the individual units shouldn’t face outward or the barcodes need to be covered (ensures fulfillment center associate scans the barcode for the pack vs the individual unit)
  • Poly-bagged units must either have a barcode (i.e UPC or EAN), X00-label that is scannable through the bag, or have an X00 or ASIN label on the outside of the bag
  • Products with bubble wrap must be labeled with a scannable barcode on the outside
  • Amazon barcodes must be applied to all products that are not tracked using the manufacturer barcode.
  • If a brand has been approved for Amazon Brand Registry, and the Seller doesn’t have a manufacturer barcode for the product, they can apply for a GTIN exemption
  • If you are the manufacturer or the Intellectual Property owner and want to print barcodes directly on the product packaging, you can apply for a GS1 standard UPC barcode

In light of the significant financial strain caused by the recent tariff increases, would Amazon consider providing temporary fee reductions or relief to support affected sellers during this period?

Suggested areas for fee relief:

  • Referral fees: Temporary reduction in category-based referral percentages.
  • FBA fulfillment fees: Partial discount on per-unit fulfillment costs.
  • Monthly storage fees: Waive or reduce storage fees for Q3 and Q4.
  • Removal order fees: Offer free or reduced-cost removal orders during the tariff window.

I had contacted Seller Support before shipping this item and was told that it was acceptable to send it to the FBA fulfillment center. Based on this confirmation, I shipped the product using a non-partnered carrier.

However, while the shipment is still in transit and has **not yet arrived at the fulfillment center**, the product was suddenly classified as a **prohibited item** and the listing has become inactive.

Since the shipment has not been checked in and this change occurred after prior approval from Amazon, I respectfully request that Amazon **refuse receipt of the shipment** at the FC.

Please escalate this request to the Fulfillment or Compliance Team for urgent handling, as this is a policy-related issue and I am trying to avoid unnecessary removal or disposal costs.

i alreadt ask amazone before i ship it but they said ol to ship after it happend i think you guys also have resonsibliity

Let me know if you need tracking information or additional proof of the prior approval.

Thank you for your support.

  • Refund administration fees: Temporarily waive refund fees to ease post-sale pressure.
  • Advertising costs: Offer credits or matched spending for Sponsored Products/Brands.
  • Subscription fees: Consider pausing or reducing Professional Seller account fees.

Thank you!

Help us understand the policy where a China FBA product is returned to an FBM Only 3P - this is an item the 3P does not sell and is only credited for 50% in a SafeTClaim

Thank You

BTW - there has been no help from tagged Mod's to our forum post on this yet

Regarding the problem of missing shipments, how should it be handled correctly? When opening a case to handle missing shipments, seller support usually asks the seller to provide a purchase invoice, but the requirement is not clear enough. Whenever the seller provides the invoice as required, the seller support does not reply to correct the reason when the document is not passed. It still replies with the same email as the initial one and asks the seller to continue to provide it, resulting in the seller not knowing what information is missing. In this process, the seller seems to be in a perfunctory state. I hope that Amazon FBA will have a set of effective and rigorous processes in the future.

How come I can send one extra product and you all get upset and make me sign something that says I will do better next time, but when you all lose 100 items of mine I can get no answers or accountability? Look forward to your answers!

FBA is becoming a free for all at the fulfillment centers and buyers.

Units "missing", "lost", or didn't receive all the units shipped.

Buyers are scamming free stuff, getting refunds immediately and winning A-Z claims regardless of the sellers proof of the scam.

We're being robbed of our inventory and something needs to be done about it.
