Shipping and handling time 2 days but order has to ship in 1 day
My handling time is set to 2 business days. On Sunday night I received an order that I couldn’t ship on Monday due to covid but because I have 2 days handling, I packed it up this morning at 8am and to my surprise it showed that the item was shipped late. Going through my orders, this was the only one that was only given 1 day handling, and all my other orders 2 days.
I opened a case, but they didn’t seem to understand my issue. They just said I shipped late, but I only want to know why this order only had 1-day handling.
They closed the case, and I was able to respond and receive a call back. I was told it was an issue in the system and within a few hours it would be cleared up.
15 minutes later I receive an email that states:
Attach the current LSR report to the SIM (Mandatory):
Current LSR% (as per account health on seller central):
Carrier Name:
Order IDs from current LSR report:
Tracking IDs:
Ship by date on as stated in order details page on seller central:
Was the item shipped on time (Yes/No):
I uploaded all the files (not quite sure what SIM means) but an auto response with the same email came back.
I’m lost at how to handle this. Do I need to be patient and see if the SS is actually working on it after the phone call, or is this email the result of the phone call?
The order was a standard order. Not expedited or anything that could make this a next day handling.
Not really sure where to go from here. I mostly do FBA, I just have a few FBM ones and this was one of 3 orders this week that was FBM. So my LSR is 33% now

Please share a screentshot like the following which you can get from the order. If you are a pro-seller ($39.99/m), be sure to check your shipping template and see if you have same day shipping turned on. You will need to edit the template to see the option.

I can sympathize with the OP because this has happened to me as well. OP, I do believe this is a glitch and it happens more often than it should.
I have never been hit with late shipping but I have noticed at times that on 1 or 2 items it will state “ship today” when all others are set for 2 days. This is the reason that I will never go back to trying 1 day shipping (too risky).

Handling time hierarchy is Default, SKU and then Shipping Template.
Ship on Jan 23 with 2-4 days should have shown delivery 25-27 and not 26-30

Hello So I have my Shipping Set at 1 day handling time . I am super fast and Amazon has me way above my competitors on shipping speed by far except prime . They might probably monitor past delivery times always trying to beat the shipping first day estimate . I only do first class unless over a lb . So you can Print the shipping label and im pretty sure they will count it as shipped . You can save a day or 2 by taking it directly to the post office and have them scan it directly get a receipt and know the time it leaves your post office daily. So if You know you are going to just be 1 day late i would print the shipping label and then make up the day by taking it directly to post office this will not save you if the package arrives late tho just fyi But 1 late shipment should not hurt you too bad i think i had that happen once but i did not notice any problems as i still got it to where it was going on time . Im a small seller thos so a bad metric can hurt but i cant remeber this hurting me so thats what i have anyway
