Help! I need to close a deactivated account, but am told I have to reactivate to do so and keep getting denied
Hello, my account was deactivated in January of 2024. I have tried with all my effort to reactivate my store, sending in over 460 pages of documentation via the reactivation link, email, even paying to have it professionally printed and delivered to amazon, to no avail. My attempts are always very quickly, denied within hours. I've accepted the tens of thousands of dollars loss this means, since amazon held onto my money from sales and my inventory, and I just want to close my store because I am still continuously being charged. Now I am being told the only way is to close my store, is to first reactivate it, which I again have tried. I truly don't know what to do. I have filed cases, chatted on help, resubmitted the request to activate, nothing is working. Please help. I just want to be done with my store and close it. Thank you in advance.

That is correct, you cannot close a deactivated store. Why was it deactivated?

No one will look at this mountain of pages.
Seriously? you sent two kilos of paper physically to Amazon? That was really a wasted effort! No one will take a single look at this.
So you sold branded products without proper supply chain. Such products are considered counterfeit and Amazon is BY LAW not allowed to pay you any money or to return the goods.
Contact an IP lawyer and ask him if it's worth to go to arbitration. This is your only possibility to EVENTUALLY get something back. Or at least the products destroyed for avoiding storage fees.
