Account Deactivated by MIstake for Having Multiple Accounts - Cannot get reactivated

I own one account, and my husband owns a completely separate account. He put my email address into his account so that I would also receive notifications, strictly for administrative help. Then my own account was deactivated. I have tried the normal channels of reactivation, and sent several pages of proof that the accounts are separately owned, but keep getting a generic response, which is not helpful. I am requesting a senior team member do a manual review, but I'm not having any success at reaching an actual person to help with matter. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You made the fatal mistake of using the same email. You cannot use the same email, address, phone number, etc. I have even heard of people having this problem because of using the same laptop or wifi. He needs to use his own email address. If you use the same address you're going to run into a problem there as well. The other problem you may have is if one of you uses another address and your documents (Identification, bank information, bill) to prove your identity, your info won't match. I'm unfortunately not sure what the solution is there.

As mentioned in your explanation of your situation, your email address was added to your husbands account. Although this may have been for administrative purposes, this established a connection to your husbands account.

You mentioned having gone through the standard process and provided information that verifies that each account is separate. The concern with providing this type of information is the established connection via email. You will need to provide supporting evidence that validates "why" there was a connection in addition to proof of separation. The major concern with this part is the specific required information to validate a separation.

When your information was used to admin support, did you establish a contract with your husband or his store? If so, you will need to ensure the contract is dated prior to the deactivation. You will also need some type of proof of separation including a termination agreement, or affidavit confirming the date of separation.

As an additional note on this, if the association still exist which commonly does in situations where sellers are associated to their spouse, these documents will not be valid, or acceptable.

If the above requested documents do not meet our requirements, the only path forward at this time would be to ensure your husbands account has been reinstated.

I am able to support other situations or reasons for deactivation, if your husband needs help with their reactivation, you can post their deactivation notice here so I can offer further guidance on that situation.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

In comparing the two accounts, my husband's and my own, I do see now that we had a shared bank account and shared credit card in both accounts, which has now been resolved. But the bank accounts and credit cards all share a common mailing address, even though our businesses each have separate operating addresses. Is this likely to still be a problem?
Ver post

Yes, this will 100% be an issue if you share, or shared information with your husbands account. As mentioned the bank account and related address very likely caused this to be a more difficult situation. If we cannot validate a valid separation with proof of involvement such as contracts, proof of separation with contracts, bill of sale, transfer of ownership where you have no association with the store or your husband.

As previously mentioned, although you are providing specific documents, if they do not validate the separation or verify you are no longer associated to your husband we will require his store to be reinstated first. I did extend the offer to help with your husbands deactivation, they are welcome to create their own post and tag one of the moderators, or if available can you post his deactivation notice. This will be important and required if we are unable to accept the separation documents or explanation provided.
