Not able to list products with valid UPC
Hello there,
I am trying to list products with valid UPC, but keep receiving an error that UPC is not valid. The brand (XYZ) is manufactured by another company (lets say ABC). ABC is the trademark owner of the brand XYZ and has XYZ products listed in their catalog on their official site.
I created a case with seller support about the issue. They requested a screenshot of GS1 site showing that this UPC belongs to ABC:
>> Additional information required if the product id is a GTIN.
>> 1. GS1 Certificate or Screenshot from GS1 database
I did that.
>> 2. Proof stating that the Brand which you are using is affiliated with the UPC/EAN owner.This can be in any one of the below forms:
>> - Document showcasing copyright, trademark or website which displays your products or brand and its relationship with the UPC/EAN owner. (We only consider official websites owned by the brand, manufacturer or the UPC/EAN owner - the affiliation should be clearly called out)
I provided them a link to the manufacturers site showing their affiliation to the brand:
abc/brands/xyz
However, support responds back requesting new information each time. Some times they lose of the info I provided before and keep requesting new random info.
I have been going back and forth with them for about 5 days now. I am losing my mind. Has anyone had any success with such issues?
