Dont you love Amazon's blatantly false prescription medication violations?

How many sellers find Amazon's blatantly false and libellous assertions that their product contains prescription medicines annoying an insulting?

There are literally thousands of listings on Amazon that are completely non compliant with USFDA Regulations but rather than doing something about these illegal products Amazon goes to great lengths to remove completely compliant products on absolutely false claims.

If I get another one of their product violations claiming that one of my products contains a substance that it does not, never has and never will contain I am going to launch a civil suit against Amazon.

They have the most stupid policy of guilty until proven innocent and can make up and trumped up claims and expect you to prove otherwise.

Not once has there been any reference to the ingredient they are claiming in my product listing, nor has it been mentioned in the published ingredients list but Amazon will remove your listing regardless and send you round and round in circles to prove otherwise even though there is no proof to the contrary.

Could you image if the police arrested Jeff Bezos as a terrorist and then expected him to prove he wasn't without any evidence what so ever that he committed a crime?

I understand your anger. You are dealing here with Artificial Ingelligence that flags your products. So, you have to know exactly what you write in your description: THAT is what the AI sees and flags.

You write "hair growth"? The AI says: contains Minoxidil, because WITHOUT Minoxidil that product can not promote hair growth.

You write "lightening the skin"? The AI says: contains hydroquinone, because WITHOUT hydroquinone or a similar chemical substance the product can not lighten the skin (besides of the fact the the words "lightening the skin" are completely forbidden, whatever it contains)

the list is long. so you have to think like the AI when creating your listing - and tell the truth....

I understand your frustration. It seems that the wrongdoers can do what they want while honest sellers are targeted.

Nevertheless your comparison to law enforcing holds no water. Amazon does not have to allow anyone on their platform. Suspicion is enough. They do not charge you with a crime. They do not have to prove you guilty.

Hello, did you fix your problem? From my expirience, with my product, I know that false and libellous assertions "your product is prescription only medication" can be because Amazon "specialists team" [Moderator Edit: removed inappropriate commentary], they dont know FDA regulations, this programers make alghoritm based on logical sentences like in mathematics. If XYZ is a medicine/ prohibited (in India) than ABC (same ingredients) is prescription medicine too (in US). for sellers looks easy to fix, but is not, theirs specialists 60 days or even 90 days dont want to respond, they only respond "we need more information", after that (if they deactivate your account- irregular status, they want to take over your inventory as "dispose order"). They even want to deactivate your trademarks, maybe to create their generics? It looks like scam. be careful.
