So how do Low Inventory fees help sellers again?
I missed the part where this is suppose to make the "Amazon Seller Experience" a positive one. I've already griped about the placement fees, which are already ridiculous, but this? What point does this have? YOU DIDN'T SEND US ENOUGH SO NOW WE'RE GOING TO CHARGE YOU AS PUNISHMENT, HAHA. Why? I don't get it? There's other issues here too. I just got an email about low inventory product and with the exception of ONE product, which are shoes...bulky, hard to ship, and really no sense in doing it after being hit with placement fees on top of everything else. So really NONE of the items they sent are ones I'm restocking. However, I noticed 3 of the items aren't even in my inventory anymore. Mostly because they've been discontinued. How am I suppose to help this issue? And for that matter, what if I decide I don't want to stock an item going forward. Are we still being charged from this? Seems like highway robbery to me lol Another question I have to ask, one of the items was never FBA....is this affecting merchant sold items too!? Something's up and I'm not really sure how to deal with the frustration it brings.

Hi @Seller_u815KUynssrbs, hopefully I can clear up some confusion around the low-inventory-level fee.
The low-inventory-level fees are not charged if a product is out of stock. Are those listings closed?
The historical days of supply metric only considers FBA inventory stored in Amazon fulfillment network. This is only an FBA fee and will not apply to seller fulfilled inventory.
There are some examples of how this fee is calculated and applied on the help page linked. You can find FBA inbound placement service fee examples linked here as well.
You might try using the Revenue Calculator to estimate your fees.
Let me know if you have questions!
