Question about selling Good & Gather Branded Items
Two listings already selling on Amazon for "Good & Gather" branded items that I'm also interested in selling are labeled as "Generic," on the listings. The Good & Gather Brand does not show up when I try to list the products. I've submitted a Brand Name Approval application but I am wondering if I should create a listing and brand it as "Generic."
I am confused about this situation because "Good & Gather" is it's own brand and I'm not understanding why people are selling it under Generic and why the brand doesn't show up when I try to list it.

selling a branded item on a generic listing is a policy violation. Sellers do it to get around restrictions and brand authorization. If you use the listing, you are as responsible as the person that created it.
If you are not purchasing from a brand approved, B2B only wholesale distributor, you will be broke and suspended in no time.

Hello @Seller_4YBQtehT12Raq- and thank you for looking to the New Seller Community for some guidance on this, and I am glad to see one of our forums veterans, @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI, has already chimed in with some sound input.
You may benefit from reviewing the Generic Product Policy, ASIN Creation Policy, and Brand Name Policy to ensure your listings adhere. It is important to be sure you have the proper approvals in place from a Brand prior to selling on associated listings. You can review the full Approvals process and this page on Letters of Authorization for additional context, but please let me know if you have any further questions!
Best,
Danny
