Amazon Shipping just generated a USPS Tracking Number that was used by another company 2 days ago for a package we shipped today.
In 30 years of shipping, this is an absolute first for me and I do not know how to proceed with this matter
Just received an email from a customer stating their package never arrived. While reviewing the tracking, we realized it was absolutely impossible as the order was only packed this morning and picked up by USPS a few hours ago.
Generated a copy of the shipping label and confirmed the tracking number assigned to our order that was shipped today was previously used TWO DAYS AGO by a company in New York shipping a package to California. We are in Miami and our package is shipping to Kansas.

I'm having the same issue here. I contacted Amazon because it has to be on their end as their shipping labels automatically generate the tracking numbers. They said they had to look into the matter further and it was a "critical case" for them. I just received a message from another customer with the same issue.

We're having the same issue. At least two so far that we have noticed. One was supposedly marked as delivered before we even sent it out.
