Amazon Seller account deactivated due to relation to another account
It's my first time selling on amazon. I started a new LLC, bought products, registered a brand and set up my amazon seller profile, shortly after that I get an email saying I get deactivated due to a similarity to another account starting with "XX".
I watched the videos, I read the policy, I looked up in forums, so many have the same problem, but no clear way for a resolution.
1- I do not know the account amazon says I'm related to
2- Never heard of the account, nor any of my friends/relatives or anyone related to me knows or uses.
3- My business banking account is not related to any other business or account.
4- My brand is not used anywhere, nor I have sold anywhere.
5- My email is only for this business and no other business.
6- I do not have any other Seller Accounts to have any similarities with email, phone, address or anything else.
7- I have no way to look up the account Amazon is saying I'm related to, and I don't know how to proceed. Can someone help?

Have you allowed access to your account to any other person for any reason?
Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp
That's a very important question from @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blsince a lot of people seem to be in love with the VA (Virtual Assistant) crowd. There are good ones but others are toxic.
Here is some other info as well. It's a template so ignore parts that don't apply --
Amazon found SOMETHING they don’t like and it could be something not even related to your NEW account.
Have you EVER had another account?
Have any family members or business associates had other Amazon accounts?
Has ANYONE ever logged into THEIR Amazon account from your home or business?
Have you ever logged into your account from a business location that had an Amazon account of their own?
Have any of the above individuals ever had accounts that have been closed or sanctioned?
Have you ever STARTED to open an account including those ‘Global Accounts’ and you did not finish the account application?
Are you, or HAVE YOU EVER, used one of the deadly Virtual Assistants?
Amazon will match your internet information to every account on the site. They are probably better at it than the CIA and NSA combined for rooting out related accounts that way.
And, this was released a while back with very little fanfare -- AMAZON STATEMENT (FINALLY) – read it carefully ---

“take the following into consideration as well:
• Have you ever shared your payment method with anyone who might have an account?
• Have you ever assisted anyone else with their account, whether it be operating the account or setting the account up?
• Have you used any service providers for things such as marketing, logistics, or fulfillment?
• Is there any information on your selling account that you do not recognize as yours?“

Hey there @Seller_oDQUAagsInI57,
I apologize for the delay in responses here! I hope this finds you well.
I understand you have recently been advised of your account being connected with another account which has violated Amazon policies.
Amazon's Selling Code of Conduct and multiple accounts policy states that all sellers must only maintain one selling account unless they have a legitimate business need to have multiple accounts. While it is permissible to also have separate marketplaces as well, all accounts must remain active and in good standing at all times. This means that if one account is deactivated or suspended, all other accounts will be moved into the same status; all accounts will remain so until the root of the issue is resolved and that account is once more active.
I watched the videos, I read the policy, I looked up in forums, so many have the same problem, but no clear way for a resolution.

You will want to ensure all of the information on your selling account is yours and yours alone. Sharing any information with another account could make this connection between the two and causing the violation of the multiple accounts policy. After this, please provide ample evidence to show that Amazon has made an error. There are no guidelines for this situation in terms of the documentation you will submit. Perhaps you can submit identity documentation, a business license, or anything to show that you, alone, are the only person who owns and operates your account. You may also want to consider providing a signed, notarized affidavit.
Stevie.

Hello @Seller_oDQUAagsInI57,
Thank you for following up.
Providing these documents will not resolve this type of situation. These documents will verify you, but does not remove an established connection to another account. Ensuring that only your information is registered on the account will help prevent new issues from occurring but do not eliminate a connection we identified.
We will require that you research and understand all aspects of your account, who ever had access to it or granted permissions at any point in your accounts history. Additionally the information used on your seller account through its history is this information shared with anyone else? We do not offer any information other than the store name and require you to fully research how and why it happened as you have a better understanding of your business and actions that could have created an association.
This can be an association to another person who may currently or previously sold on amazon. Have you ever had a business partner or employees? Does anyone else access the device you manage your account from?
I would additionally recommend watching our seller university video on how to address a multiple account policy violation. As mentioned above verifying the separation is a requirement in these situations. If we cannot confirm a separation or that the associated store has been reinstated. This account will not be eligible for reactivation since they are the only paths forward.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
