Sales tax on orders fullfilled by Amazon MCF.
I hope that someone can help with this. If I sell a product on my OWN website but uses Amazon MCF for storage, S&H , how does the sales tax work. Let me explain. If the MCF product goes to one Amazon warehouse, then no problem. That creates a so called sales tax nexus and I must charge sales tax on it if someone in that state but the product. If Amazon distribute the product around the country, that will be a sales tax nightmare. Do anyone knows how this works? Thank you

For MCF orders, Amazon is just doing the shipping.
Sales tax must be handled by you. Generally this means you tax buyers from your own state; but you will not have the legal right to charge sales tax to other buyers unless you are also registered in those states. I do not advise you to register in any state but your own.
