Someone combined 2 of my listings

I'm not sure how but I have had two separate listings for these, for years. We have a solid version and a hollow version of our product. I can't figure out when or why or how but now they are combined into one. the ASIN on them both are the same now (i have the old asin record) and customers are now getting the incorrect stuff when they think they order one, they get the other.

What would be the best option to correct this?

Update - actually it was hijacked. i found the Piece of S who did it. ill try to get support. Dunno how this happens I'm a registered brand.

So Amazon support is near useless. Their response was that their records indicate I don't sell the 2 products in question. Literally makes no sense.

This has happened to some of my listings in the past few months as well. I think it is Amazon bots doing it. Cant be sure though.

Keep putting in demands with Brand Registry support to Unmerge the ASIN. When they say they cant, tell them to escalate the issue to someone who can.

when 'support' says you now have to contact the Brand Owner u claim you are they will deny you are and the circle jerk starts and ends when you give up and the hacker wins your listing

I doubt it was hijacked, Amazon does this from time to time. happened to 3 of my parent ASINs many times. Worked on so many levels to figure it out...its a mess!

Yes. Amazon does not enforce their registered brands even though we go through steps and incur costs to get it. It is infuriating and they offer zero compensation for their own mistakes and incompetence in following their own rules. Please post the final results and how you get them because this comes up regularly.

This is what you get from brand registry. It will not be easy to get your listing back. We have lost many listings because of brand registry letting as in allowing Sellers who do not legally have the right to a brand have a brand listing. Amazon has made a mess with branding one of their worst moves ever. When you buy on amazon you need to say to yourself is it real or is it fake. Sorry you are having this problem.

On our inventory pages, top right side is "Potential Duplicates ".

When a listing is flagged by the bots as a duplicate, the amazon program asks the seller (who for example has one used copy and is not the owner or creator of the listing) if this is a Duplicate. If you answer yes, the bots merge the pages. Any seller can do this, just wanting to make their listing active again (otherwise it will stay inactive),. not knowing that the page now merged probably has so many inconsistencies and incorrect information about two different products, that as a seller you do NOT want to list it because the buyer is buying something you prob do not have....

I swear there must be a dedicated team who does nothing but take down and screw up listings weather it is amazon self sabotaging to drive sales towards their items or other platforms to drive items to their platform boosting sales but either war RETAIL selling is looking better and better every day we would almost rather fight with the homeless and shoplifters than deal with Amazons ZERO seller support!

This bot mischief has been happening to my listings for years. Moving used collectible items from their correct category into things like office supplies and wall art. Categories where used items are not permitted (or searched for by buyers) and in which I am approved to list. All without notice to me, Then amazingly they sit there unsold for years and the bots fail to detect their presence and remove them - which at least would alert me that they are no longer an active listing.
