Without seeing the email you are referring to, I can help share this help resource focused on the Strategic Account Services Account Management Program, which does carry program fees. You may also be interested in looking through the Service Provider Network, which is all Amazon vetted third party companies that can assist in your e-commerce efforts.
I hope my commenting drives some traction to this post so other sellers might offer their experience with account management, but thank you again for looking to the forums for some guidance!
