Account in good health but need to reactive and amazon keeps charging fee
I was out for a while , about 3 month . Now I tried to list a new product . The product is ACTIVE but in amazon.com says currently not available. Checked my account and it says that I have to reactivate my account and send again same docs they already have( not an issue)
Is it normal that amazon keeps charging the 39.99 fee even if account was not active? And needs re-activation . Acount says in good health

as long as you do not downgrade from the pro plan you will be charged

Greetings @Seller_HnFPQY7PZWRQI,
I understand that your account has been deactivated, which can be a frustrating situation. However, I wanted to take a moment to explain that the charges for the professional plan is normal and why it's important for you to manually downgrade your account, even though it is currently deactivated.
When an account with a professional plan is deactivated, there are still some benefits and assistance that you can receive from the Amazon end. This includes things like:
- Continued access to Amazon's seller support resources and assistance. The professional plan provides a higher level of support compared to the individual seller plan.
- Potential access to certain Amazon seller tools and features that may still be available to you, even with a deactivated account.
- Ability to maintain your account history, reviews, and other data that could be crucial if you decide to reactivate your account in the future.
By manually downgrading your account, you can ensure that you continue to receive these benefits and maintain your account status with Amazon. This will make it easier for you to reactivate your account or potentially transition to a new account in the future, should you choose to do so.
I understand that this may not be the ideal situation, but by taking this step, you can help protect your seller history and potentially access valuable resources during this time. Please let us know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with.
Best regards,
-Nikki
