Ran Prime Day Deals Only to Have Counterfeit Sellers Show Up as the Default Search Result...at a Higher Price!

We have been dealing with counterfeit Chinese sellers for weeks now and Amazon has been ZERO help.  To add insult to injury, we ran Prime Deals this year and our price with the red “Prime Day Deal” banner is not showing in the search results for our product.  The search page is returning the counterfeit seller and their higher price as the default search result (we are priced lower with the Prime Day sale.) Another previous counterfeit seller also jumped back on the listing today, so now there are three total sellers on our ASIN. To make matters worse, the “More Buying Offers/3 New From $X.XX…” link lists the second counterfeit seller’s price as the lowest on the ASIN which is STILL higher than our Prime Day sale price!  I love driving traffic/running ads to boost visibility/performance of an ASIN, only to have these Chinese counterfeiters take advantage of Amazon’s blind-eye approach to this problem.  Contacted seller support and they “forwarded the issue to the correct team.” I was told I should have a response within 24-48 hours…just in time for Prime Day to be over!  Further proof of how little support Amazon is willing to provide registered brand owners.

Has there been any update from that case yet? Can you help share the case ID so I can investigate from my end along with you?

The world will end before Amazon takes real action against these hijackers. We get at least one a month: "Just Launched" account, Chinese business name, selling multiple high-volume products, no reviews. They leech for a few weeks, make their sales and then disappear before they have to deal with the repercussions of either shipping the item with a fake tracking number OR sending an awful knockoff that destroys reviews.

I still don't understand why Amazon doesn't think this is hurting THEIR business when customers are having more and more unpleasant experiences on their platform. This isn't just a small business issue, this affects their reputation more than ours.

I get those Scammer Sellers on my computer emails trying to log in and nab whatever I have worked for. They are Brutal and Nasty, good luck on getting help! I fight them everyday!:)

I really dont understand, that as a brand owner and Creating the listing, that there is not an option to gate the the listing from other sellers, and make them get approval from the manufactuer or brand owner, LIKE THEY DO FOR MAJOR COMPANIES. its ridiculous. If they just gated every brand listing and require approval, ALL of these issues would go away.

Just fantastic…things keep getting better! I received this email this morning from Amazon:

“We are reviewing your inventory for ASIN XXXXXXXX  due to an influx of negative customer return comments. This ASIN may be suspended after for further investigation if customers continue to report issues with your ASIN offer at a consistent rate.At this point your offer is not suspended, however, we are reviewing your inventory based on the negative customer return comments.For this investigation, we have identified wrong item received issues based on the following customer comments: Wrong item received “

You allow counterfeiters to sell knock-off products under our ASIN and then threaten to suspend our listing? You have allowed it to happen despite multiple reports…don’t you think customer satisfaction might be at risk when allowing cheap knock-offs to be sold?

I get those Scammer Sellers on my computer emails trying to log in and nab whatever I have worked for. They are Brutal and Nasty, good luck on getting help! I fight them everyday!:)

I really dont understand, that as a brand owner and Creating the listing, that there is not an option to gate the the listing from other sellers, and make them get approval from the manufactuer or brand owner, LIKE THEY DO FOR MAJOR COMPANIES. its ridiculous. If they just gated every brand listing and require approval, ALL of these issues would go away.
