How does Amazon validate my information to check for eligibility?
Amazon uses data available in public authorities websites, such as Receita Federal, Simples Nacional, Sintegra e Suframa. Amazon uses the CNPJ provided during account registration. Amazon also periodically reviews pulic information to confirm eligibility. If your company status changes and you become ineligible to the program, your FBA account can be blocked and you will be notified to take the required measures. You will not be able to issue invoices via the Amazon Invoicer until your account is reactived.
Note: the specific tax regime classification (CRT) of companies under SIMPLES Nacional is not available to public access, therefore Amazon can't identify changes in this eligibility criteria. If your company surpasses the gross revenue limit stablished for CRT 1, you should inform this change in the Amazon Invoicer settings so that it doesn't impact your invoice issuance. As a default, Amazon will use the tax regime (CRT) informed by you during the Invoicer configuration. The incorrect information will directly impact your invoice issuance. If you have any doubts regarding your tax regime classification in SIMPLES Nacional or tax documents issuance, consult with your internal team or external accountant.
