Amazon restricts the sale of products that are deemed to be Offensive and Controversial Materials. We have five general categories to help you understand what may be Offensive and Controversial to help you avoid listing a product that violates this policy.

• Promoting Hate or Intolerance
• Promoting Violence
• Graphic Sexual Images
• Child Exploitation
• Human Tragedy

Promoting Hate or Intolerance

Products that explicitly promote, glorify, or incite hatred, intolerance or exploitation of a group or individual based upon any of the following protected traits: race, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability.

Promoting Violence

Products that explicitly or implicitly promote, glorify, or attempt to incite violence, cruelty or torture against an individual, group of individuals, or animals.

Graphic Sexual Images

Products that depict graphic sexual images. This does not include certain images with a medical, educational, or artistic purpose.

Child Exploitation

Products that depict children (under the age of 18 or older depending on local definitions) in a sexually suggestive manner.

Human Tragedy

Products that include items that have been collected from the site of a tragedy or are in some way directly connected with a tragedy, excluding certain products which commemorate/memorialize the loss of human life.
