Products that require a prescription or a medical professional's supervision or direction for their use
Products that are not notified/registered with ANVISA
Products that are suspended, banned or recalled by ANVISA
Products and ingredients that ANVISA or another Brazilian regulator has determined present an unreasonable risk of injury or illness, or are otherwise unsafe, such as:
Chlorofluorocarbon propellants in aerosol products
Products containing excessive amounts of lead
Cosmetics containing impermissible levels of formaldehyde
Products containing hydroquinone
Products containing the substances of RDC 83/2016 by ANVISA
Products that do not comply with RDC 03/2012 by ANVISA
Listings claiming that a product is intended to be used for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease in humans or animals
Products that have passed their expiration or "use by" dates
Opened or used cosmetics, skin products or hair care products
Products that are not sealed in original manufacturer's packaging
Products that have had their packaging altered in such a way that removes or obscures any identifying codes placed on the packaging by the manufacturer or distributor
Products labelled as "tester," including perfume testers, or "not intended for resale"
Products that do not have the legally-required ingredient or other labelling
